Agreed, it was by pointing out men such as these that my partner got me to watch football in the first place. Now, I try not to miss watching the games on Sunday if I can avoid it.
I never understood gay men who don’t even like watching sports, and this pic is why!

Yeah, yowza, look at them. :-)
I was thinking about someone as soon as it got to the playing with someone’s hair part
There’s definitely someone I was thinking about while reading this…

Back in Class
Well, its been almost a year since I was actually able to take a programming class at school what with professor availability and all. I’ve missed it. I was working on our lab assignments today and once again found myself getting pulled into the coding and really enjoying it. I find that for me its all about the ‘make it better’ aspect that I find enjoyable. I tend to go the ‘extra mile’ and do more than the minimum required just because I can’t be content with that. I’m really looking forward to starting the work on the final project as there are steps that we complete throughout the entire semester.
SW:TOR
Well, I was talked into trying out the new Star Wars MMO and I have to say that so far I’ve been impressed. Its interface is close enough to the one (ie: hotkeys) that they used for World of Warcraft that I was able to get up and moving fairly quickly. I’m just poking around now and will probably get more serious in the next few days but I think that as an alternative to WoW this just may be the game for me.
Woke up to the first snow of the season this morning. Looks very pretty and has my inner kid going ‘Yay’.
Still figuring things out…old dog…new tricks :-)
Btw, I’m still trying to figure out a few things on here so please bare with me while I poke around the options and turn on various things. I just think I was able to find the check box to activate the ‘Ask Me Anything’ option.
Another year gone by…
Well, this is my first post on here and it feels good to be able to write something without worrying if it will fit into the allotted number of characters for a post. I haven’t blogged in years, since the Live Journal days, so I’m not really sure how often or where the content of the entries will go. I’m also happy that I can write what I’m thinking without worrying what may or may not offend/upset people.
The year is winding down and I have to say that I’m going to be very happy when 2012 gets here. This year saw a pretty significant breakdown in my relationship with my father. I’m not saying that I am all that concerned about it and I’m definitely not losing any sleep over the situation. You see, my dad has this misguided idea that we kids should be able to put our lives on hold to help him whenever he needs it. While I’m willing to help if/when I can I won’t drop or cancel plans I have made when he calls at the last moment with something. I think that he missed the memo that I grew up and have a life of my own with my own priorities (ie: Paulo) and I’m not willing to sacrifice them just because he needs something done at the drop of a hat. The events of the year have been a very solid reminder why I enjoyed living 6+ hours from my parents for all those years.
School is progressing well and I am really looking forward to my classes starting in January as I get to take a JAVA class. My schooling has all been about re-tooling my skill set to include the technologies that are currently in use in my chosen profession which is computer programming. I’m hoping that once a get a couple more classes under my belt I can get back into the professional job market and get back to doing what I love.
Well, that is enough for my first post.
HUGS!!
